Identifying A Safe Meeting Place

The Annual Emergency Simulation Exercise NEED code named “Operation Basics” is on the 15th March 2018.
We invite the public to participate by testing your Emergency Evacuation Plan

A emergency or disaster can happen at any time, forcing you and your family to evacuate. One of the essential components in an emergency plan is the muster point or safety meeting place.

A Safety Meeting place is a predetermined safe meeting place, where you and your family should gather in an emergency to evaluate the situation, and what needs to be done.

Two meeting spots should be designated: one just outside your home and one just outside your neighbourhood.
